Standing 977 feet tall above the city, Sutro Tower has been one of San Francisco's most recognizable landmarks since it began broadcasting in 1973. I was born beneath it, fell in love there, and used it as an anchor while exploring the city. In my opinion, it’s the most underrated landmark, while the Golden Gate Bridge gets way too much.
